Coaches Expression of Interest – Masters Pan American Championship

Field Hockey Canada is looking for coaches for the 2025 WMH Pan Am Championships in September

Field Hockey Canada (FHC) is seeking national coaches for the 2025 Pan American Championships to be held in Asuncion, Paraguay from September 21 to September 30, 2025.

Canada is proud to be sending two Masters teams in the 55+ age category – one Men’s team and one Women’s team. We are seeking a coach for each team and these are volunteer positions.

FHC is the national sport governing body responsible for the development, growth and promotion of field hockey in Canada. Among its responsibilities and in collaboration with the FHC Masters Committee and Age Group Coordinators, FHC helps select, prepare and promote Canada’s teams towards the goal of delivering sustained podium performances in WMH Continental and World Cup competitions.

FHC’s Masters program is self-funded by athletes selected for WMH Continental and World Cup teams. The coaches’ cost of national and international airfares, accommodation at the event and a per diem will be covered from players’ contributions (amounts may be capped). Additionally, coaches may be paid an honorarium for all practices, events and tournaments attended. The successful applicants will be expected to select, develop and coach their team in the lead up to the 2025 Pan American Championships.

*The coaching responsibilities will commence in April 2025 and end the month following the tournament.

The deadline for applications is March 29, 2025.
